Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner

SILVERHOOK SGA17 is an iron-based organo-metallic additive dissolved in a hydrocarbon solvent.

SILVERHOOK SGA17 are used as fuel borne catalyst for the regeneration of diesel particulate filters, for all diesel engines and all diesel fuel qualities. It lowers the ignition temperature of the soot collected in the particulate filter and thus assists periodic combustion of accumulated soot, a process known as filter regeneration.

Performances

-     SILVERHOOK SGA17 can be used for all diesel engines;

-     The catalyst derived from the FBC is evenly distributed within the soot particles as opposed to only being present at the soot filter boundary as in a catalyst-coated DPF;

-     Regeneration with SILVERHOOK SGA17 is 5-10 times faster than when using a catalyst-coated

DPF substrate;

-     No dismantling of filter required, regeneration takes place during operation;

-     The German Federal Agency of Environmental Affairs recommends the working components in SILVERHOOK SGA17 combined with a diesel particulate filter;

-     Offers more complete additive regeneration than alternative systems;

-     SILVERHOOK SGA17 is ideal for the aftermarket. The treat rate can easily be adapted to the amount of engine soot and the product is unaffected by fuel and lube compositions;

-     No secondary emissions;

-     Product stability -30 ºC up to +90 ºC.

SILVERHOOK SGA17 provides long term reliable regeneration of the filter during operation – no dismantling and reassembly required, no shutdowns, no interruptions to operation (dismantling for ash removal will be required at times as for all DPF systems, but no other shut downs are required for normal operation). This offers cost benefit to the end-user.

How to use:

SILVERHOOK SGA17 can be added before filling the vehicle (or storage bulk) tank or should be added by a special dosing unit fitted to the vehicle.

Please, store at an ambient temperature. (Should be stored at a temperature above 0°C). Always keep the product container closed. The container should be stored in a cool and well ventilated place. An MSDS is available on request.
